The Weekly Challenge!

This weeks challenge on uks was set by the scrap apples and had to have 4 things included in the lo

10 points for intertwining ribbons
10 points for green, white and pink colour palette
5 points for blossom / apple element
5 points for following sketch

I used some copies of prints of John and am pleased with but will prob use the pics again as they are so lovely

Sunday BLOODY Sunday!

What a pants weekend its been weatherwise!!! last night I faffed about tidying up my craftroom from the rubbish left over from the cc! and have more to do on that tomorrow (Monday!)

Ooh I almost forgot to blog Jo's cj pages again! I did them a couple of months ago and forgot to blog them then! her theme is 'a moment that makes you stop and watch the worlds responses!'

I love this series so much! The second season is out of dvd from May 17th in the UK and the third season starts on HBO on June 13th...

can't wait for tonights episode... we get to see a bit more of Eric Northman!

Well, i started off with the best of intentions!

This weekend as many of you know is the uks cc! Kids were duly despatched off to Granny and Grampy's (what would i do without these two wonderful people?) Alun and I got stuck into the first class and we plodded on thru the night and then started again the next day.... felt a bit funny around lunchtime and by 6pm.... tools were downed and i was talking to God on the big white phone for the rest of the night!!! So know its 1.30am approx and i'm awake and Alun is zonked out after saying he was gonna keep an eye on me....lol

Not much done at all.....

Yesterday for it is now almost 3am! i did very little apart from surf uks and t'internet all day, chatting to various online pals and phoned Heather for my daily dose of keeping it real! lol.

So there aren't any photos to look at but we did have choc chip mint ice cream after dinner!

Imitation is the best form of flattery!

I was so impressed with the birthday book that my friend Alison sent me, that I decided to make one for my sister! So during the bout of insomnia that occurred last night, I really enjoyed making it and can honestly say that this is the first time i've made something worthwhile using my BIA!

My sisters' favourite colour is purple so I went for this shade as a base colour...



































A really big thank you to Alison Drummond Jones for the inspiration you gave me without even knowing it!

Phew, glad thats over...

Insomnia struck last night cos my mind was racing about sorting out my craft room! Its been on my mind now for a couple of weeks to move my 4x2 expedit unit upright again and put the 2 smaller ones side by side and move my desk under the window to take advantage of the natural light once the summer comes... (if it comes) after 2 hours of pushing and shoving furniture about my back said enough! So I had to go back to bed to give it a rest! I woke up late this morning and started on it again!

I just need some new flooring then it will be sorted!

















Now maybe I can get some decent scrapping done this weekend while the cyber crop is on!

WOW!!! Today has been great!!!

It started off with a lot of pain and also making a frustrating phone call to the post office to track down lost parcels!

Nigel, the delivery man brought them later on and there was 4 parcels!!! here are the contents

Alun received his mascot today which was sent by lacemaker aka Daphne (the cute spotty dog!) and the lovely lady also enclosed an ATC folder/holder with a beautiful ATC in it for me, which i have added the ATC that silvercustard sent me and the twilight one i received last week from my friend on uks, Lee. I received my mascot on Saturday from Meg Baby ( a beautiful snowy owl that now has pride of place on the shelf above my desk!)



































Then I opened the last parcel addressed to me and in it was this gorgeous birthday book (each page/monthly pocket has a birthday card ready to be used!) from my friend Alison aka Alibri, it reduced me to tears, on a day when I woke feeling pretty rotten to have people send me all these lovely things, well it fair cheers you up!
