Don't you love impulse buys!!

A few weeks back I bought a Cropper Hopper ribbon spool holder from Craftie-Charlie and needed something to store my much bigger collection of loose ribbons in/on and I saw this item on eBay over the weekend and decided it was just the thing!! the lower section was originally flat but I wanted it a bit rounded so using my foot on the reverse pushed it out ever so gently and it was ideal.











































Now unfortunately the camera hasn't picked it up as well as I had hoped but it looks so much better IRL but I'm sure you catch my drift :-D

Loch House Farm Weekend

A coldish weekend in Scotland, ladies from all over the country headed for a farm near the town of Moffat and indulged in scrapbooking, eating and laughing.
A great time was had by all and it occurred to me that the ladies all pictured were part of the sketch and scrap social group on UKS too.

I'm so excited!

Roll on Thursday! this weekend I am going away to meet up with some of my scrapping girlfriends again, I'll be heading north to stay with Carin then on the Friday morning Carin and I will be heading to Scotland to meet up with the rest of the group, hopefully i'll get some scrapping done then as being around other scrappers tends to boost my mojo abit!

I'll be missing DH and the kids tho so much but returning home is even better!

Chinese Whispers

On UKS, I am in the Rik Rak Ravers and we got together and have decided to do a chinese whispers project, we all do a layout and email it on to another team mate on the 20th of the month and then receive one from another team mate and we all do a layout based on the sketch of the new layout.

He Ain't Heavy

Here's a layout that I sat and worked on for most of yesterday afternoon til about midnight!!!




















I did intend to use patterned papers on it but got stuck into making flowers using mothers day bouquet cricut cartridge instead! The background cardstock was originally white but I inked it to within an inch and now is red, green and frayed burlap coloured..
