It was the worst of times, it was the best of times!

Today Alun decided he was going to take Tessa to the music shop in Weston to buy her her birthday present! prior to that the kids wanted to have a look at his mandolin... So it was duly carried downstairs and they all had a play with in then in was left standing up against the desk, unfortunately Ethan then walked past it and with the movement of his feet on the floorboards the mandolin fell over and broke!!!.... totally separating the head from the neck!!! Poor Alun when he came up and showed me, he looked like he could have cried! not so much because of the damage but due to the sentimental value of the instrument! It was the first christmas present I ever bought him....












Fast forward a few hours and the music shop had duly lightened Alun's wallet by a goodly sum and I now proudly introduce our new addition to the family 'Peter' after Greenie himself!

Ethan was given a kazoo by Tom in the music shop for being so good and waiting patiently!

Sleeplessness!

is very frustrating so i have spent the last half hour adopting 2 widget wolves! be kind to them and feed them only once each then tap their heads to make them growl!!!

I may get around to doing the whole wolf-pack yet who knows!!!

just another day in the life of.................

After a fantastic weekend of scrapping last weekend, i seem to have let the side down this week and not done very much at all, still after a chat to my favourite northern friend, we sort of challenged each other.... as we had bought the same kit from Sarahs Cards and both of us had hardly used it we agreed to do a lo using the same sketch and kit and i said what about a lo about our husbands (with the proviso that the photo had to be taken this weekend!) easier said than done!!! so not sure what matey's lo is like yet and i decided to use a pic of husband and father-in-law out walking (pic was taken by mother-in-law)unfortunately the light of my life can't remember where the heck they were! so thats where the title comes from.

Another amazing day!

Today i've done 3 lo's thats some sort of record for me! considering i started scrapping at about 6am.... and have been awake since 6.30pm saturday night too. I managed about 3 hours sleep and now i'm awake again and D has thrown up too!
