She's home!!

She had a fab time too! a bit of a wobble on the Tuesday evening!! but on the whole a great time! they even hiked to Tenby and she took some great photos and enjoyed the activities they all partook in and on the last night there was a bbq and disco too! Apparently the mattress wasn't too comfy but she was glad she had the sleeping bag and her own pillow & case, the decor in the bathroom was rather vivid she thought!! and even I had to agree when she showed me the photo of the painted green loo!! I was especially chuffed with the messages she wrote in the sand too....

Anyway so pleased to have her home and thanks for dropping by too!


Ooh, I kept myself busy during the week making cards for the beavers, cubs and scouts plant & cake sale! and... Alun decided to treat me to a patp set... the family one which is ab-fab!! can't wait to use it on a layout either!

Day Two - Three more days til she's home!!

And all is quiet in the house without my girl! The boys got up and had two breakfasts each and went off to school quite happily!


























Here she is with her best friend Hannah and then on the coach with a few more friends too ( too much reflection on the glass unfortunately) but I'm looking forward to seeing the pics that she has taken when she gets home!)

Keeping it in the family!

Tessa is off to Morfa Bay on Monday for a week with the school and one of the things she has to take with her is a water bottle! so we bought one from the hiking shop and she decided she wanted a carrying strap/case for it... so out came the crochet hook and some black wool that Granny donated and she borrowed a hook and my crochet book and got started... I think she did a really good job for the first thing she has ever made too! (And, she did it all in one evening too!!) she did ask for help with knitting the strap but that didn't take her long to pic up either! I just hope she has a great week and doesn't get too homesick! Although I'll miss my girl like mad!

Also today my new vintage lace patp set arrived from Samuel Taylors aka clickoncrafts

Today is June the 2nd

and.... we have lived in this house for 5 years!! Time flies doesn't it! So much has happened! I went back to college, We had the kitchen done out! we got 2 boxer puppies, my mum passed away, Dominic developed asthma and other allergies! my dad moved to grimsby and disowned me! my nephew died just before his 22nd birthday! I discovered scrapbooking shortly after I moved here and then I met Heather!! we have gotten together several times and each time I have blubbed cos I didn't want to leave... my ideal world would be all my wonderful scrappy friends living in the street and Alun could meet them all too! Dominic and Ethan started school, My lovely friend and neighbour Vicki had her beautiful little girl Phoebe! and my beautiful Tessa starts high school in September! I have had several operations and am dealing with a permanent back problem which now means that the 3 years I spent learning how to be an holistic and beauty therapist is now no longer a viable career option! Alun started to lose weight and is now under investigation to find out why he has lost nearly 5 stones in weight! I turned 40!!!! Just so much has happened and I know I've shared some of it with you but below are just a few pics of what my life has been like in my quirky little pink house....
I've included a wedding picture of us (13 years in July! and 15 years since we met!)my first ever layout and my favourite layout from last year and my lo I did from the first time I met Heather! plus a pic of each of us taken that weekend! and some pics from the weekend away that I organised for the Twilighters in February of this year and we are doing it all again next year with some more twilighty folk too! I can't wait!! There is also a pic of me, Heather and Dee too! I would love to get a photo of as many of us Rik Rak Ravers as possible, they are a fabulous team and I can't wait to meet as many of them as possible! and definitely see the twilighters again! they are a great bunch of girls too!
