Feeling pretty pants of late

So i went to the Drs today and saw a Dr Nimenko, what a star he was! i have pleurisy and am now on antibiotics and painkillers! so i'm off back to bed shortly!

Another Tiddy Jiggy piece

I finally managed to glaze it and here it is dry next to the design i chose to use, its a celtic love knot!

The background is a combination of 3 different colours to give it a mossy look/feel and the knot was painted in bronze and outlined in black to make it stand out!

I hope Leigh11 likes it as much as i do!

Kids...

Yesterday I woke with a stinking cold! having been up most of the previous night trotting back and forth to the bathroom! sorry tmi!

I love my 3 dearly but i don't love the bugs and stuff they bring home from school! I'm looking forward to going to scotland at the end of the month but today has brought a letter in the post saying my car tax is due on the last day(Grrrrrrrrr!) trying to figure out the finances and see if i have enough for car tax and petrol money on top of having to pay for my monthly subs kit and anything else that might take my fancy! Oh well off back to bed now, just one last thought!

Why is it always half term or school holidays when you pick these blinking colds and shivers up???

Tiddy Jiggy piece

 

This is the first piece of a jiggy swap i am doing thru UKS, the pic looks yellower than it actually is because i took the photo at night using artificial light...

anyway just to give you an idea of what it looks like and i really hope Jane likes it - the theme is magical moon!

I received the January kit from Sarahs Cards and have so far only used it to do one layout but here it is, its my mother-in-law and I am pleased to say she likes it and the other is a lo of Tessa and Ethan decorating the christmas tree in Dec...

UKS weekly challenge

This week the twilight addicts have set the weekly challenge, its been great so far, a few negative comments but hey we are big girls and shake them off pretty easily, hope everyone continues to enjoy the challenge for the rest of the week!

4.30am (approx) 01-12-2009

Ok, i finally made it out of bed after being there for about 5 days of sore throats and headaches and hallucinations of vampires and werewolves.......... see twilight and new moon! I have checked on my emails, paid for my JYC kit and posted a bloggy type thing at the bottom of the screen and then realised that i now have to find a bloggy type thing for the eclipse film! email me if you have one :-)

The Paracetamol that i took at 11.30pm has worn whilst i lay in bed listening to the penultimate cd of eclipse, so i thought i'd crawl down here make a soluable paracetamol drink (yuck) log on check any emails (37!) including one from an old school friend, of a cautionary tale of running thru the house with a fork in your hand! pictures included and not pretty i can tell you!

btw Lee-lee if you are reading this hunny-bunch take a vicarious trip to the puke thread for me as i spent most of Sunday night til about 1am in the upstairs loo!

Not sure when i'll make it online next and i'm a bit worried as i have 2 crops to go to this coming weekend:( one thats be pre-booked for 2 months and i was planning to collect something there too and my local crop that i am supposed to have done a dlo for and still not done it! plus i still have yet to make a start on christmas cards! oh well, c'est la vie!
